This nine weeks we are learning all about measurement in math workshop. We have already learned that you can use cubes to find out how long or how wide an object is. Our class really amazed me when they went around the room to measure objects. I heard students use the word "compare" and "measure." We have measured our feet using bears and our pencils using paper clips. Give your child a few items and ask them which object is longer and which object is shorter. Have fun exploring math together.
